Thanks for reaching out to us. You'll first need to remove the plastic covering over the balance channel by slipping an instrument under the cover and pulling it out of the track. Then, you can compare your balance to our Series S770-16 with the 16E stamp option. A pair of balances with this stamp will support a sash weighing 19 to 22 pounds. You'll also want to confirm that the length of the metal channel is 16".
