Broken Channel Balance Help

Question

Hi we are in australia and having no end of trouble finding the parts for our double hung tilt windows..... any help would be very appreciated.

Hi Karen. This looks like a Series 795 Channel Balance. You'll need to measure the length of the metal channel to confirm what length you need. For the stamp option, look for a stamp code on the metal channel. If there is none, or you are uncertain, weigh your window sash. You can then match that exact weight with one of the stamp options on the product page.

Note that the top clip on our balances appears shorter than yours, but it screws in just like yours does.

It also appears that your old balance uses our 15-194 1" T-Lock Shoe. You can buy this separately and swap it out with the shoe that comes by default with our Series 795 (the 15-195 1-1/4" shoe). This is a very easy process, as depicted in the video below.
