Broken Double Mortise Lock

Hi,
I have a broken double mortise lock from a 2013 purchase at Lowes of a ReliaBilt 72-in x 80-in Tempered Grilles Between The Glass White Vinyl Universal Reversible Double Door Sliding Patio Door Item #758318 Model #719801229540 (As currently described on Lowes website) with almost the exact dimensions as the 82-239 but a little different as seen in attached pic. I believe the 82-239 would work but wanted to check with you t see if you have a different or more exact recommendation?

Hello,

Take a look at the 82-265, which is the same lock as the 82-239 that you were looking at the uses a faceplate like the one shown in your photo for installation. Take a look and compare the specifications to yours. Thanks for posting!

Hi Casey,
Thank you for the information but the 11" inch long dimension is too long where it is actually 9 7/8" from bolt hole to bolt hole as specified in the 82-239, so I think I'm going to go with the 82-239. What do you think?

You could certainly try the 82-239 as long as the dimensions match up to yours but you may need to reuse the original faceplate to install it if your dimensions do not match the one that comes with the 82-265.

Actually Casey, When looking at the 82-265 I believe you were right and that would work better because that combines the faceplate and matches dimensions of my detached faceplate so I believe I will order that. Thank you.
