Broken Lock

Quick Learner from Florida
I have an ADW-8 sliding door. The lock broke on the inside and there appears to be no way to replace without disassembling the door. It is a series 311.

Thanks for writing in! I'm sorry to hear of the issue with your door and mortise lock. Before we being is the lock broken with the door open or shut.  If you are able to open the door then there is a chance that we may be able to get you to a place where you can uninstall the lock without having to disassemble the door.

I have an idea of the type of lock you have based on the product information you've included however to be certain, I'll need to see a photo of the mortise lock to be able to determine the best course of action to take.

Are you able to provide photos of the lock?

The door is open and the lock fell down inside. I have the the brand and the series. What else could you need? It is: ADW-8, series: 321 thru 334 SGD. I tried to find it locally and no one has it.

I do not have photos.

Thanks for confirming. I'll need to see a photo of the opening of the door as well as the handle set your mortise lock is compatible with.

Based on the product information you've provided, it looks like our 82-265 could be a possible replacement however, it will be difficult for me to confirm this, with certainty without photos. Take a look at the dimensions, especially for the installation hole measurements, to determine if this might work as a possible replacement.
