Can you identify this pivot lock shoe? And can you instruct how to remove/install?

Hi there Paul!

We can help with this. Your pivot shoe is no longer available but we do have the 15-177 which will work in its place. To remove it, I recommend you make a cut out in the window track as shown in the video below.

Hi,
My window has a balance as shown in the attached photo, not a spiral balance.

Will the 15-177 work with my balance?

Yes, the 15-177 will replace your old pivot shoe and is compatible with your existing springs.

Do you have a part number for the spring shown in the photo? It is 1/2" wide. There are no markings on it.

Yes, the Series 152 springs are designed to be used with the 15-177. You'll have to check the band of the spring for a stamped weight code. If there isn't one or it's too faded, you must weigh the window sash on a scale and divide the weight by the number of springs used in the window.
