Broken Springs

Question

Our Hurd Millwork windows have broken balance assemblies.  Can you advise on just inserting a new spring and slide or if the entire side window assembly needs to be replaced.  Do you have parts available for either option.  The home was built in 2001.

Unfortunately, we do not carry a replacement for the Jamb liners or naked springs shown in your photos. The only part we can supply would be the 15-104 friction shoe shown below. If you need all the hardware replaced, your best bet would be to reach out to a local millwork. I'm sorry we won't be able to assist with a complete repair, but please let us know if you have any other hardware questions. Thanks for posting.
