Broken Window Lift Spring Assembly

A quick learner from Charleston SC says:
Hello - the balance and spring assembly still works. A cheap plastic piece where the window inserts and pivots at the bottom of the spring assembly cracked and needs to be replaced. No idea how to identify the part nor do I know how to get the old one out of the track or the new one in. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Separately, I've included a picture of the latch at the top right of the window that is broken. Thank you.

The broken plastic piece you refer to is the old Silverline pivot shoe. Your exact type is no longer made, but they recommend replacing it with our new 15-046. Look it over and see what you think.

Looks perfect and the dimensions align. I've got one on order and will feedback. Any suggestions for lubricating the balance and spring assembly to make the window easier to open and close to prevent future problems?

You could consider using a silicone spray, we find that works well and doesn't attract dust. If that doesn't do the trick, however, then it may be time for a new balance.
