Broken Creation Window Parts

Home Owner from Oakland Maryland
We need parts for 2 Creation Windows that were installed in a New Era home in 2000. The tags on the windows show the following information:

Series 3000 SH AAMA NWWDA 101-I.52-97 H-R25 46X68. Serial #430-230-133 and Serial #430-230-141.

I called our home manufacturer and they gave me your information. The parts that allow the windows to slide up & down (springs, cords, etc.)and the latches to tilt the windows are broken. The latches look like the tilt latch 26-243 because ours do not have screw holes.

Could you please let me know what parts I need in order to fix them correctly. Thank you!

Good morning! Thanks for posting. I'm not sure what hardware you need based on that information. Could we see what you have? If you can, please carefully remove each piece of hardware you're looking to replace and take a few pictures of them separately. Then, upload those pictures here for me to look at and identify. Thank you!

Great! Thanks for these images, they're a big help. Take a look at our Replacement Sash Support Block & Tackle Rods and see if any of these match up with your hardware.

I have a customer with these same exact windows. Are any of these plastic blocks, string, springs, or rods available? Or if there is a full replacement system to replace these?

These rod balances are no longer made, but they can be replaced with one of our tilt window plain channel balances here. To know which, please send a picture of whatever shoe, hook, or attachment is at the bottom of the rod. That will identify what you need.

Awesome. Thank you. Here are some pics. If you can direct me to which one will work that'd be great.

Hello! Bob's not here today but I can help you out from here.

Like he said, this old rod balance isn't made anymore, but your particular style can be replaced by our Series 795. You should just double check the spring diameter to confirm that it's 1/2". If it's less than that, the Series 795 won't work. Let me know if that's the case and we can work from there. Assuming 1/2" is a match, though, then you should be fine.

Now, the process of using the Series 795 to replace your older balance is a little involved so I highly recommend watching the video below. This will cover the whole process top to bottom.
