Broken casement window crank

Crank still works, but 3/4 to closed, it hangs up. I can then pullk the window in a biut, and the crank with then continue to full closure. Set scre on crank handle is tight. Crank "axle" seems to be loose.

I think that several teeth on the mean crank gear are broken.

Hi Oliver,

It does sound like the operator gears may be stripped so you'll need to replace the entire mechanism to complete your repairs. That said, your casement window operator can likely be replaced with the 39-387 Split-Arm Operator. The opposite handed version is the 39-388.

Your operator link arm appears to be attached to the 39-560 Truth Clip-Stud Bracket. To confirm that these are the correct replacement, take a look over the dimensions and compare them to your existing hardware.

These operators are compatible with the 39-114L Crank Handle.
