If only the coil is broken, may I just change the coil? if yes, how to change if I order a pair of coils? Thanks.

Thanks for reaching out to us. Yes, you can replace just the coil spring though we recommend you replace both sides at the same time. You wouldn't want to mix and match old springs with new ones.

We'd be happy to help identify the proper springs but we'll need to see photos of the pivot shoe first, preferably removed from the window track.

This is the good side one, M 9 LB. The sash is about 18 lbs.
So the 9 lbs Series 180 Coil Balance should be good, right?

Thank you for the additional photo! This looks like our S161-09 balance assembly. A pair of these will support a sash weighing 18 pounds. Just note that they're sold individually.
