Broken coil spring balance shoe

Question

The shoe holding the pin locking piece broke (pictures attached). The markings on the outside of the coil are 40 / L. Looking for a replacement part or whole assembly is ok too.

Hello there. This is a Simonton Coil Balance system that is no longer made. However you should be able to replace it with the 15-259 Shoe and Series 159 Coil Balance springs. The video below explains how.
