Broken coil and pivot connector

Quick Learner from Arizona
I have a window from approximately 2000 where both the metal part of the pivot and the coil are broken. There does not appear to be a natural cut out to slide these out to get pictures.

Thanks for posting. This looks like an older version of the 15-177 Pivot Shoe, which works with Series 152 Coil Balance springs. The video below shows how to remove and replace a similar system.

How do I know what weight spring to order? Do I need to replace the housing that holds the coil and if so, what is the part number?

If your old coil housing is undamaged you can reuse it; otherwise see the 15-143, 15-144 and 15-145. These parts 'sandwich' around each coil. To determine the spring weights, see the video below.
