Broken piece on window

Hello there. This pivot shoe looks similar to the CertainTeed 15-192. However, I suspect you have a Simonton window. Simonton windows once used a very similar shoe to the Certainteed 15-192; however, the Certainteed shoe does not fit Simonton windows properly. You may be able to get it to fit by filing down the 'alignment nubs' on the face of the new shoe; but many customers have indicated this does not work. It likely depends on the specific window. 

We have a substitute solution: the 15-259 Pivot Shoe will fit your window. However this will require replacing the coil balance assemblies in the window track with the Series 159. The video below explains this entire conversion process. Take a look and see what you think.
