Hello I am trying to replace the pivot shoe in my viwinco window. I have just ordered and replaced the metal pivot bar which was also broken however it seems the show is stuck and only slides up with the window a couple inches before stopping. I am trying to identify which pivot shoe is the correct replacement part.
I was able to remove the pivot shoe, when looking at it, and looking at the other side of the window it appears that the metal piece in the first picture was never attached to the shoe like it is on the other side, therefore would not slide up and down with the window and would be come stuck at the bottom of the frame therefore the window would not stay in a raised position. I am unsure what actually has to be replaced? Thank you.
