Thanks for your post! The piece that came out of your window is the track slider from the casement window hinge. To repair this, you'll need to replace the hinge set.
I'm confident we have the hinges you need but I'll need to know the length of the track installed to the window sill.

The window operator appears to have a 9-1/2" arm like the 39-028E Ellipse Style Single Arm Operator (the opposite version is the 39-027E). To determine if this is the correct replacement, carefully review and compare the dimensions below.
The compatible crank handles and tracks can be found tagged below. Be sure to compare the specifications on the website, for both tracks, to confirm the correct fit.
The casement window hinge can be replaced with the 36-048 2-Bar Hinge Set. You will need to replace both the top and bottom hinge to ensure they are a match.
These sets can be used for both right and left handed applications.
