COIL ASSIST PARTS

Contractor from Concord, NC
Good morning,
I need your help in identifying the replacement parts needed for a house I am working on.  As you can see the cast pot metal stop is broken and the lower shoe is cracked as well.  I will need several as the owner broke two cleaning windows last week.  The windows are less than three years old.  I do not know the manufacturer but, if necessary, I can make the trip back out to locate the manufacturer's info.
I am assuming that, if I have to retrofit similar parts on to the existing windows, I would also need to replace the pivot pin on the sash as well.
Thanks for taking a look at this for me.

Hey there,

Thanks for writing in! I'm happy to recommend a replacement for the pivot pin you mentioned; although, I'll need to see a photo of the existing pivot bar to determine the correct replacement.

We do not have this exact coil assembly but we recommended using the 15-177 Coil Balance Shoe to replace it. Carefully review and compare the dimensions below to confirm it will be a fit.

This shoe is compatible with the Series 152 Coil Balance, which is attached using the 33-072 screw. To determine the correct coils needed for the replacements, you'll likely need to obtain the exact sash weight. Take a look at the video tutorial below for reference.

You'll need the 15-143 Coil Bushing, 15-144 Coil Bushing Cap, and the 15-145 Coil Support Barrel to replace the cover.
