Caldwell 27-4 KL Replacements

A home owner from Mission Viejo, California says:
Good evening. The channel. Alance on my mother-in-law's aluminum double paned window broke. It is stsmped as a Caldwell 27-4 KL. There are no other standings or markings on the unit, and the metal portion measures 28" long. It looks like the clip that secures the balance to the bottom off the window cracked as well.

As such, I'm looking for part numbers and availability for the Chanel balance units and necessary hardware to install them.

Good evening! I believe I know which top sash guide you need. Check out the 18-008. Compare the measurements on our site to your old guide to judge if our part is right for you.

For the balance, as you said, you have a 28" channel balance with a 2740 stamp option, which relates to the "27 4" printed on your channel. Your series is either a Series 380 or a Series 385, depending on the size of the plastic shoe at the bottom. Measure it as shown below. If it measures 1-3/32", choose an S385-28. If it measures 1", you're going to need the S380-28.
