The metal only is 27 inches long.
The marking on the metal says
26 3. L 3 (or LS ) Caldwell
Where hook is plastic side comes straight out and on the other end the plastic is winged.

Hi Julie,

Thanks for reaching out! The channel balance you have is the Series 395 Channel Balance. Like yours, this balance is assembled with a winged top and a wingless bottom.

Since yours is 27", you'll need the S395-27 with a 2630 stamp option.
