Hi, One of my channel balances broke and would like to find a replacement for it. I have attached pictures of it.
Stamped with : 23 9 30# CN CALDWELL
Metal piece:
1/2' wide
24" length
Let me know what other info you need to identify it. Thanks.

Thanks for posting! Before I can offer an applicable replacement for this channel balance, I just need to know a bit more information about the bottom attachment. Please take a look at our 15-004 and 15-005 channel balance shoes, and note their depths. As you can see, they are 1-3/32" deep and 1" deep, respectively. Which one more closely matches your own bottom attachment?
Also, the stamp "23 9 30" does not correspond with any of our standard stamp options. Can you please give me the weight of your sash? You can do this by removing the sash from the window and placing it on a scale. Any common bathroom scale should do.

Tom,
Thanks for your reply. My shoe looks like the 15-004 with a 1-3/32" depth. The sash weight is right at 25lbs. Also notice that on the other end of my balance the metal has 4 notches on each side which seat it and hold it into place.

Thanks for getting back to us. In that case, I would recommend taking a look at our S385-24 channel balance. Our balances do not have the same notches like yours, but the balance top attachment will connect with the top sash guide. This is where the sash will seat the balance.
Now, for the stamp, I'd recommend the 2350 option. This can carry a window sash weight range of 24 through 27 pounds.
