Caldwell window balance replace , non tilt

Question

I am replacing my Caldwell window balance, which is around 26 years old. The lenght of the balance (the metal part only) is 25". The nylon cable inside the balance is broken.
There is a mark on the part: 25 3 IP CALDWELL. Pleases advise me which part would be a good replacement. Thanks

Thanks for posting! Your channel balance looks like it could be either the S380-26 with a 1" shoe or the S385-26 with a 1-3/32" shoe. To determine which series is needed for your window, look over the dimensions from the diagram below to confirm the depth of your bottom shoe. Let me know if it does not match either measurement.

You'll need to select the 2530 stamp.
