I have 20 year old windows that will not stay shut. They are the original windows from construction. I need help identifying and purchasing new parts.

Thanks for reaching out to us. It looks like you have an old-style balance. We should be able to help but we'll need more information. Can you remove an undamaged balance and show us a photo of the shoe at the end of the rod?

I was not able to get it out. I didn't want to risk damage.

The last photo is perfect, thank you! This is an old crossbow balance but our Series 795 can replace it as long as the spring diameter is 1/2". The video below will go over everything you'll need to know.
