Hi there,
I purchased the 22" Series 795 Channel Balance (Order 1050831) and I am unable to fit the shoe into the window slot. I tried turning the channel balance so that it is horizontal and then tried twisting it but the shoe will not turn. I'm a little worried to apply too much force because I can see that it is starting to bend/flex significantly. I'm including two pictures. The existing (broken) shoe is in the window slot and that appears to be the same size as the new shoe. The new channel balance will fit in the slot.
Please help!

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. Could it be your original shoe was the smaller 1" version, our 15-194? Another idea would be that the original balance was overall a skinnier, ribbed version that's a little more uncommon. Could we see a picture of the original metal channel?

Thanks for your response. Indeed you are correct. After measuring the inside width of the slot, it is only 1". I'm going to go ahead and order (2) 1" shoes for the (2) 795 Channel Balances. I think that should correct my problem but definitely let me know if you suspect anything else. Thanks!
