I'm not sure what might be wrong. It should be the opposite: the hooks should not be able to extend unless the button is depressed. That's by design, since otherwise hooks could cause irreparable damage to the frame if the door were to be closed while they're extended. Can you tell me what happens when you depress the button and retract the hooks? Do they then extend without the button needing to be depressed again? |
