Caradco window crank replacement assembly needed

Quick Learner from Herrin, Illinois
I need a new window crank assembly for this window. Caradco is the name on the plastic cover. TRUTH is stamped on the metal crank assembly part. I don't know how to acquire a replacement part number to help with ordering. The window itself is approximately 2' x 5' measuring the inside glass only. Thank you for your help. My name is, Christine.

Hello, Christine. We can definitely help with this but your photos are only showing me the base of the operator. In order to help I will need to see the whole thing, including the arms that physically push the window open and pull it closed. Let me know if you can get those photos for me.

Hello Tom,
I had not seen this reply until today. I'm so happy that you are able to replace this window crank. Hopefully, this picture will give you the information that you are needing. I noticed that once the window is slightly open, that the gears are engaging and working. But, when it is about to close, the crank somehow disengages and just spins. The window was recently replaced due to a rock hitting it. The crank hasn't worked right since the installer was last here.

Yep, it definitely sounds like the gears are stripped out. The gear teeth just aren't catching, probably because they're worn down at that particular point.

The good news is we definitely have these. I'm very confident that you want our 39-155 and 39-156. I just recommend reviewing our dimensions to be 100% sure that they align. I think they will, but you can never be too safe.
