Casement Window Crank Operators

Home Owner from California
Hi Swisco. I have several casement windows with failed crank mechanisms. Most of them are a brand I don't recognize, with a "K/K" logo near the handle. (See attached photo.) They are wood windows.

I also have several Andersen windows needing new assemblies. One is wood, the others are vinyl clad.

What specs or dimensions do I need to know to ensure I order the correct replacements?

Thanks, Jason

Thanks for posting, Jason! I'd be more than happy to identify your hardware for you, but unfortunately I'm not quite sure what you may have based on the image provided. can you upload a few pictures of the entire operator? I'd have to see what the arms look like, as well. You may find it easier to remove the operator from the window before you take pictures.

You can do the same with your Andersen operators. Once I can see the entire unit, we can work from there!

Hi Dave. Thanks for your reply. It's been a hectic summer, so I'm just getting back now. These images are from one of the "K/K" operators. This window hinges on the right, but the one I need to replace hinges on the left. Otherwise it's identical. The window is tall and fairly narrow. Do you need to know the window dimensions?

This second image is the other K/K window operator. The same mechanism as the other photos I previously posted, though this window is wider and not as tall (approx 4 x 5'). I actually need two of these: one hinged on the right, and one hinged on the left. Please let me know if other photos or specific dimensions would help.

Thanks, Jason

Thanks for getting back to us, Jason! Based on these images, I think you have something a little closer to our 39-031 & 39-032 EntryGard Dual Arm Operators. Do they look about right? Make sure to compare all the dimensions to your own hardware, especially the length of the short arm. If the short arm measurement is a little short (pardon the pun), you may want to look at our 39-155 & 39-156 Caradco Window Cranks. Let me know what you think!
