Casement Window Operators (Left & Right)

Home Owner from Collierville, TN
Hello sir -- i am a novice home owner in Tennessee. My handyman recommended that i reach out to you for assistance in identifying & purchasing the correct parts needed. The front windows from our (about 22 years old) home do not work at all; the two window operators are clearly broken. However, i am not able to identify any marks anywhere as to the make and model of the windows. Would you please assist me in fixing these two windows? I will get the handyman to do the actual work of installation; he is very good and dependable but lives far away, so i can't get hold of him often.

Hello, thank you for posting,

We should be able to assist with replacements for the crank operators, but to further review, we will need to see the window open where we can see a bird's eye view of the arm attachment(s). From there we can determine the right fit.

If the crank is broken, with the window unlocked, you should be able to gentle push the sash open. Thank you!

Hello Lauren -- Thank you for the response and also for asking me to push the sash open to get a Bird's Eye View! It immediately showed me that the Maker of the Window (Crank Operator) is Truth; i had completely missed looking at this earlier. Here it is, and please tell me if this is sufficient for you to move forward in helping me.

Thank you,

It would be best to see the window opened a bit wider, but it appears you may have a dual arm operator. Please start by reviewing the 39-031 and 39-032 or the 39-155 and 39-156 operators. The main difference between the two styles is the length of the short link arm.

For new covers and handle, see the 39-323 or 39-107 cover and the 39-114L handle.

Please compare dimensions on the products pages to confirm a good fit! Let me know if you have any questions.

Please note that Truth is the brand of the hardware, but not the original manufacturer of the window itself.
