Casement Window Truth Hardware Not Closing Window

Question

The existing truth hardware  operates fine if removed from the window. If attached then only works to open the window and can't close. Looks like the thread but pops up

It sounds like the operator may be stripped. Please start by reviewing the style and dimensions of the 39-317 and 39-318 operators to see how they compare to your original. Also see the 39-114L for a compatible handle.

Do the hinges seem to be working okay? The one arm appears to be rusted. Take a look at the 36-048 2- bar hinge set that has a 10" sill track. If replacing, the top and bottom hinges would need to be replaced at the same time. We also carry stainless steel set under 36-004-10.
