Casement Window crank - Truth Entryguard question

A quick learner from NJ / FL says:

These are 2004 Truth Entryguard mechanisms. I was wondering :

1. Do these have an adjustment nut ? and do you sell the wrench so they cant be adjusted (the windows rub/sag and need small re-lignment needed.

OR

2. What is a good replacement that can be adjusted ?

It is my condo in NJ but I live in Florida now otherwise I would take better pics . I just bought new crank handles from you.

Thanks

Robert

Hi Robert. There is no adjustment nut on these operators. If the operator itself was broken, you'd need a new one. Now it appears you have either the 39-031 & 39-032 or the 39-155 & 39-156, depending on the length of the link arms. Compare both sets with your old hardware to see what matches best.

However, note that if the window is sagging during use the operators might not even be the culprit, but rather the hinges on the top and bottom of the sash. These are meant to support and brace the window during use. If you remove the old operator from the window and the sash continues to sag or wobble during manual pushing and pulling, then the hinges are likely what need to be replaced. See if our 36-048 matches your old hinges.
