Casement window locks

A home owner from Missouri says:
The pictures I've included are of my Hurd window locks. I need one to replace a broken one. The dimensions are 3" across, 3" tall and distance from center of screw holes is approximately 2 and 1/2 ". Do you have anything that comes close?

Bob from SWISCO responded:

See our 38-144 Casement Sash Lock. Look over the dimensions and see if you think this could work for you. You will need new keepers: see our 38-276 and 38-277, respectively. Let me know if you have any further questions.

A home owner from Missouri says:
The size of the item number you sent will not work.

Thanks for getting back to me. The 38-144 is what customers have successfully used in the past to replace this Hurd sash lock. Can you tell me specifically why you don't think it will work? Is it the hole spacing, or the overall size?
