Casement window operator identification

Home Owner from Troy, Michigan

I have attached 4 pictures of the operator, 2 from above and 2 from below.  There appear to be part numbers visible in the photos from below.  Part No. 31850 is 5 inches long.  Part No. 30744 is 5.25 inches  long.  The third piece which appears to be attached to the hand crank has a bend in it.  The part of the third piece is 3.25 inches long on the end that attaches to Part No. 31850.  I could not measure the  other part of the third piece. Part # 30744 from underneath, it looks likeit might have "TRUTH" stamped on the part.

The window was installed by the builder 25 years ago.

Please help me identify the part and hopefully you have one in stock.

Hi Dan,

Your window operator reminds me of the 39-315 Truth Dyad Operator. To replace the bracket the link arm is attached to (marked with 31850), we suggest using the 39-513 Stud Bracket.

The opposite handed versions of these parts can be found below, along with the compatible crank handles.

The part marked with the 30744 is an arm on the casement window hinge. This is separate from the operator. If you would like to replace this, I suggest reviewing and comparing the dimensions for the 36-048 2-Bar Hinge Set.

This set can be used to replace top and bottom hinges, for both right and left handed applications. It is encouraged to replace both the top and bottom hinge at once.
