Thanks for these photos. This is the 15-192 Pivot Shoe and Series 170 Coil Balance. The issue is that stamp could really be either a '9' or a '6'--yes, they really didn't think to help us figure that out from the stamp. What I would do is weigh the window sash this setup supports. If the sash weighs within 1 pound of 12 pounds, then the stamp is meant to be a '6', and you can use the S170-406 6 pound spring. If it is within 18 pounds, then you need the S170-409 9 pound spring.
