Certainteed vent latches.

I have Certainteed windows that were installed about 14 years ago and a few are in need of vent latch replacements. The existing vent latches are 3" long top to bottom. Your 26-148 latches looked like they were the ticket until I noted that they are only 2-1/2" long top to bottom. The slots in the window frame are 2-3/4" long so the 26-148 would not even cover the hole properly. Any suggestions?

I wonder if my windows are the same generation (being from CT too, could help). Here's a picture of the vent latches that were basically all trashed or broken when I bought the house two years ago.

Dimensions are 2 7/8" long for the entire unit to fit into the window slot. Any thoughts?

I actually recognize this latch! We don't have it in stock, but I believe we can special order it for you. Can you just confirm how many you need? In the meantime, we will look into this latch's availability.
