Champion window balancer

I got suckered in buying Champion windows. They do now follow through with their warrenty. They don't even answer. Have to fix it myself. I have a #5 on the plastic cover and a #10K on the spring roll. Is there a cross part# I can order?

Hey there. Sounds like you have coil balances. Can you send us photos of the assembly, especially of the pivot shoe they attach to? The pivot shoe identity will narrow down all else.

Thanks for getting back to me, Bill. This looks like a 15-177 Pivot Shoe, which works with Series 152 Coil balance springs sold separately. The '10' stamp on the spring likely means you need a 10 pound spring. I am afraid a 10 pound version of the Series 152 is not available. You could use two of the S152-5 5 pound springs instead. The video below explains more about coil spring weights.

For the covers, see the newer style 15-143, 15-144 and 15-145. These pieces 'sandwich' around each coil. Let me know if you have questions.
