Hi, I was trying to find a correct match for my window balance/channels. I have a few that say 25-9 and a few that say 24-9; all for the same size windows. On the 25-9 balances, the plastic top part was cut at the top, so it would fit. I do think the 24-9 is correct; bi can not find a match in your system. Attached are pics of what the balance numbers/text and an overall picture. The windows are heavy, but I have not weighed them.

Let me know what size you recommend or if you need more info. Thanks.

Hello,

To get started, I would recommend measuring the height of the visible glass in the window sash. We will also need to know the exact weight of the sash since the spring strength codes stamped on your balances are part of an outdated system. Thank you!

The window glass itself is 24 inches tall and 38.5 inches wide. The weight of the window is 34-35 pounds. Please let me know if to you need anything else.

Attached is the Top and Bottom Pics of the Balance; i am thinking this is an S380, S385 or S395 on your channel balances?

Also attached are 2 pics of a part on the window which broke and i would need a replacement, if you can recommend.

Thank you. Your balance would be either our S380-25 or S385-25 but our stock balances only support a window sash up to 33 pounds. We'll need to know the exact weight of the window, down to the ounce, to confirm if we can provide a balance with the correct support for your window.

Also, take a look at the diagram below to help you choose between the S380 and the S385 based on the depth of the bottom attachment.

Lastly, I don't recognize the top sash guide in your last photo but I'm going to have one of our senior experts take a look to confirm if a replacement is available. Thank you!

We believe you could use our 18-008H top sash guide for your window. As for your 25" sideloaded balance, you'll need the Series 385-25 with a spring weight (2470) to handle a sash weighing between 33-36 lbs.
