Hello, I'm working on a house that I'm renovating and found two left side channels that that have broken parts that hold the spring both top and bottom. Could you tell me what I need ? And most important do you have an replacement. This is a single hung tilt out window. The spring is 18" long and the channel is 33". Pretty heavy window. Could you help identify please.

This looks like a Series 795 Channel Balance. We can definitely replace this, but we need a little more information to get started.

Hey Christa. Thanks for sending these photos. It does look like the metal channel reads as 32-7. You said this balance is 33" long, which would be a little unusual for a stamp that starts with a 32; normally these Series 795 balances have stamp codes where the first two digits reflect the exact length of the metal channel, not including the shoe at the bottom. You may want to double-check the length to confirm it's indeed 33" long.
If the metal channel is indeed 33" in length, then you need a S795-33. However, to know what stamp option to pick, I am afraid you are going to have to obtain the exact weight of the window sash. This can be done by placing the sash on a bathroom scale, or even placing the sill on the scale and gently lowering the sash down onto it--the latter option, while not quite as accurate, can still work if in a pinch. Just be as precise as possible. You can then match that exact weight with one of the weight ranges listed alongside each stamp option on the balance product page.
Finally, you're also going to need our 15-195B T-Lock Shoe, sold separately. You can swap this shoe out with one that comes by default with these balances (our 15-195). This is a really easy process, as the video below demonstrates.

Based on everything we've gone over, see our S795-33, with a stamp option of 33D which is for a window sash in the weight range of 25 through 30 lbs. Again, you'll need the 15-195B, sold separately.
