Hey there. This looks like either an S380-30 or S385-30. The only difference between these two balances is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe, or what can be thought of as the heel-to-toe measurement, so compare both with your old hardware to see what matches best. You will need a stamp option of 2930. That flat part in the top corners of the sash is called a Top Sash Guide. They keep the channel balances in place during window operation. Due to age and sunlight, they can break down over time, and when this happens, the balances shoot past the window sash. I'm fairly confident we can help replace these for you, but we'll need to see an undamaged version out of the window, with pictures from the front and side. For assistance removing and replacing Top Sash Guides as well as your Channel Balances, see the videos below. |

It looks like this Top Sash Guide might be our 18-193 pair, but look over the dimensions to see if it matches your undamaged version to be safe. No, other than the balances (either the S380-30 or S385-30, depending on which has a closer shoe depth) and sash guides, you won't need anything else for installation besides any tools both videos above recommended. Let me know if you have any other questions. |
