Channel Balance ID

A home owner from USA says:
The only thing stamped on the item is 28C

The metal is exactly 29'

There are 2 pic showing the window track. one looks normal (as you show it on a video.) However the other is just 2 pieces of metal sticking out of the track.

So what do I need.

Can I see a few pictures of the top nylon attachment for this balance? I only see pictures of the bottom shoe. That will help us find the best match for you.

Thank you. I've narrowed this down to two possible channel balance Series: either our Series 380 or our Series 385 balances.

Now, as you can see, there is only one difference between these two Series, and that is their bottom shoe. The Series 380 uses the 15-005 while the Series 385 uses the 15-004. I can't quite tell what you have based on your pictures, though. Please carefully compare their dimensions to your own hardware and see which is a better match.

If your shoe is 7/8" deep, then I think our 15-005 would be a good match. It's like your shoe was once 1" deep and simply wore down with age. If you agree, then I recommend our Series 380 channel balance.

OK sounds good
I guess there's no issue with the top part? and I also need a fix for one side of my window sill with the bArs sticking out. okay so where do we go from here can you send me a price with everything I need for 2 of them

If you agree that the Series 380 is a good match, then just visit that link and select your length in order to see all information you need.

What stamp option do I need

28C is stamped on the side

The window weighs 20 lbs. It's new built around 2009, plastic and glass - I do know how to account for friction.

Well, when I look at the option chart for the S380-29, I see that the 2830 option can carry a window sash weight range of 16 through 23 pounds. If your window sash is 20 pounds, then it fits comfortably within that range.
