Channel Balance Installation

A quick learner from Blairsville, GA says:
I ordered a new channel balance assembly (Item #S795-32) to replace one with a broken locking shoe. Everything appeared the same as the old one, however when trying to install the new one, it looks like the new shoe is wider than the old one and I cannot get it to fit in the channel slot. I am truly a novice at this. Am I missing something? Is the old shoe a weird size? The windows are about 20 years old. Would appreciate any assistance.

Looks like you have the 1" wide shoe. That's not necessarily a weird size, but it is not standard with the Series 795.

What you want is our 15-194. This is sold separately. You can purchase this and just pop it onto the balance that you already bought. The video below will show you how easy this is.
