Need to replace channel balancer for Milestone Single Hung Series 1000 window. 28D is stamped on the existing channels. What part do I need?
The exiting metal channel is 29"L

Thansk for the photos, John. Please confirm that the top nylon cap on your balance has 'wings' like the bottom nylon shoe does--I think it does, but I can't quite make out the top attachment in your photo. If so, see our S380-29 or S385-29 Channel Balances. The only difference between these two Series is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. With the Series 380 the depth of this nylon shoe is 1", whereas with the Series 385 it is 1-3/32". Compare with your own and see what is best. Your stamp option of 28D conforms to our stamp option of 2840, for a window sash weight range of 23 through 28 lbs. Let us know if you have any questions.
