A home owner from Riverside CA says:
Channel length 32"

I need help identifying the proper replacement. Let me know if you need better photos or other measurements.

Thanks!

Hello! Your balance appears to be a match for either our S380-32 or S385-32, depending on the depth of the bottom fitting. The diagram below will show you the exact differences between them, so all you have to do is measure your fitting and pick accordingly.

The stamp is a minor point of concern. Your old stamp, 31DS38, indicates a special heavy-duty spring calibration (the "DS" literally stands for "double spring.") However, that 38 tells me that your spring is only rated to carry 38 pounds, which isn't all that heavy. Our standard 3165 stamp can carry 35 through 39 pounds, which is more than sufficient.

You may want to check the exact weight of your sash by placing it on a scale. If it is 38 pounds then our 3165 stamp, which is available for both the S380-32 and S385-32, will work perfectly well without the need for a special order.
