Channel Balance replacement for 23TGX, 25 LB sash

Hi, I have a broken 24" channel balance stamped 23TGX used in a 25LB window. Can you recommend a replacement?

Take a look at our S770-24 with the 24E stamp option and see if this part will work for you.

Considering that the weight of the sash is 25 lbs, would a 24D be easier to open and close than a 24E (understanding that we may sacrifice a bit of longevity)? Our windows are very hard to push down to close and lock with the current channel balances, which are rated 23-25 lbs. Your expertise is welcomed.

No, it's not going to be easier to open and close if the sash is exactly 25 pounds, they'll both work equally well.
If anything, the E option will be easier to open (though closing it might be a little tight)
If your current balances are rated for 25 pounds and they're hard to close then you should triple check your sash weight, down to the ounce.
D would be a better option if your sash is any lighter.

Just following up for anybody else with my issue. The sash is 25 lbs and the 24D works perfectly. Thank you.
