Channel Balance Replacement

Question

Looking to replace Channel balances for a few windows
They all appear to be the same channel parts in terms of channel balance (although the windows are slightly different in width / weight)

The existing channels are:
29" Long
1/2" Wide (technically 5/8")
The measured depth of the bottom shoe (not the metal) is just under 1" (maybe 15/16")
The Windows range between 15.5# and 20#
The metal channel is stamped 28C
I see no other identifying marks

The windows themselves are Milestone Single hung Series 1000.

I am guessing the proper channel is S380-29, and that based on weight I should get a set of Option 2830. That said, it's hard to be sure without any better item numbers on them. Please see pictures.

Good morning, Daniel. I think your guess is spot on. I also think our S380-29 with a 2830 option is a great choice. The method you used to figure out what balance you have is exactly what we would have done! It's always better to go off of the hard measurements than whatever part numbers you may see or have been told.
