Channel Balance replacement

Quick Learner from Seattle
Hi,

I need to replace my channel ballances. The are 19" long. The sash is 20.4 pounds. Based on information on your website, it appears I may need the Series 351. My windows don't have takeout clips, instead a small plate screwed into to window frame that holds the string and a small hook at the top, inside of the sash. Are there standard parts for this scenario, or is this a custom order?

Thanks!

This is a very unique installation for this non-tilt balance. I'm going to have one of our senior experts take a look and see if they have come across this set up in the past. We'll reach out when more information is available. Thank you!

I have a few questions regarding your unique balance system set up. You wrote the balance channel is 19" long but the photo of the channel shows 2830, which would be for a 29" channel balance.

Also, you picked out the Series 351, which has a bottom nylon shoe depth 1". Does that match your dimensions? The cord clip is screwed on where normally it is a hook clip, like the 62-105. If everything checks out, we can custom make these balances with the 15-043 terminal clip so that you can screw it on to the sash. Will wait for your reply to determine how you would like to proceed.

Hi Paul and Casey. Thanks for looking into this. Paul, I must has mistyped; it is 29", not 19". The bottom shoe has a depth of 1". I'm glad you can custom make these and would like to order a pair. Please advise on how to proceed.

Best,

We appreciate your patience and confirmation. We just sent over an order link and price quote for two of our S351-29 channel balances with the 19-043 terminal clip installed at the end of the pulley cord, which should install in a similar way to the clip in your photo. Take a look and please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you!
