A home owner from Treasure Island Florida says:
Two channel balance for larger window appears to read ( #22DS 40L) .
Four channel balance for two smaller windows appear to read ( #16D ) .
I'm sorry but those are the only markings that I can find . I hope this helps..

Thanks for writing in. For the shorter channel balances, see our S390-17. This looks right, just confirm that your balance's metal channel length, not including the nylon fittings at either end, is 17". You'll have to pick a stamp option. Your stamp code of 16D conforms to our stamp option of 1640.

Four your longer balances, the stamp code 22DS40L actually indicates that this is a dual-spring balance, or balances made for extra-heavy windows. We can replace these but they will have to be custom made. I am sending you an email with a custom link to order (2) balances stamped 22DS40L, 23" long, and with the 19-002 and 15-001 fittings attached. If you have any questions just let us know. Many thanks.
