Channel balance

Need to replace channel balances. I ordered S380-29 but it's too thick (deep?). The width is correct. It appears there correct shoe is the 15-029 but I didn't see one that had that attached.

Thanks for posting! Sorry to hear you're having trouble with the S380-29. We can potentially custom make a version of this balance with the 15-029 for you, but there are a couple easier solutions you can consider.
The first and most common is to file down the depth of the shoe a hair until it fits. I've done this myself plenty of times and it works well. The only caveat is that your balance cannot then be returned for a refund, since it would be physically altered.
The other option would be to install the 15-029 yourself, since you already bought a balance from us. You can use our 62-005 rivet. See the video below for detailed instructions on how this can be done.
Let me know how you wish to proceed. If you wanted to just go with a custom order, I'll be happy to do that for you. It's up to you.

The actual metal channel is also too deep. The correct footer appears to be 15-029 but I have not been able to find the correct channel. The length and width are correct.

I've come across your metal channel before. It's an older design no longer used. We do have the Series 800 which has a 3/8" metal channel, but I think that will be too skinny for your window.
I've used our 1/2" balances to replace your style before and found that it works well. I know it seems like it'd be too big but if you look at your old nylon fittings you'll see that they stick out pretty from from the metal channel. That more or less makes the balance fit in the window the same way ours does.
