3640 Channel balance

A home owner from 92315 says:
They are 16 1/4" long, 9/16 wide. "3640" is print on the back. It has a plastics plug that plugs into the window frame holding the string. I think they are Andersen windows. George

It's tough to tell what you have from these photos, but it looks like you might have a version of our S745-16 Peachtree channel balance. Look it over and see what you think. Our stamp options are different from yours but you can weigh your sash to confirm the best one to go with.

A home owner from 92315 says:
It looks like it will work. My balancers are in the sash, these sashes are heavy. How much does the S745-16 lift?

Do I weigh the sash on a scale?

Like most people, I'm in bind, the widow are out and its a mountain home. Thanks George
A home owner from 92315 says:
My balancers have "3640" stamped in ink on the channel, what does that mean? ( I'm not at the home where the sash/windows or to weigh)

Also do I need a terminal plug or does that come with the new balancer? Thanks Again

There are three strength options available for the S745-16. Like I said in my prior post, you will have to weigh your sash to confirm the best one to go with. Your stamp is different than the ones we use so I can't use that to narrow it down. Weighing your sash is your only option.

The terminal plug does come with our balance, yes. If you haven't already, I highly recommend visiting the S745-16 store page I've linked you to. This has detailed information that should help you make your decision.
