Hello there!

My recommendation would be our S380-21 or S385-21 channel balance. The important difference between these two parts is the depth of the bottom shoe so you'll need to measure as shown below. Based on your 20 4 stamp, you will need the 2040 spring strength option.

Excellent thank you! It took a while to get back to the job, but finally measured it. It's 1 & 3/32, so I'll order the S385-21.

Thank you for being so helpful!

So I have another window that needs new channel balances.

The metal length is 30", full length is 31"

Depth 5/8", width 1/2", depth of bottom shoe 1 3/32"

The numbers are hard to read; looks like 29 4 GT CMC 2.

I'd guess this would translate to S385-30 with a 2940 spring?

Is that right?

(See photos)

Best regards,
Ben

Hi there Ben. I agree that these photos appear to match the Series 385 with the 2940 option based on the information you have given. However, before you place your order, could you upload a photo showing the inside of the metal channel where the innerspring connects to the pulley mechanism?

Thanks! Please see the attached photos.

Great, thank you very much! Your pulley system looks standard to me so you should be all set. You can place an order right on our website at your convenience!
