Need 2 channel balances for a window. The balance is 22 u=inches long including the plastic bits. The window weighs between 20 and 30 lbs. I have included some pictures. Please let me know what part I should order. Thank you for your help.

Thanks for posting! I am confident we can provide you with recommendations for the replacement balances you need but I'll need a bit more information to confirm the exact series you need.

May I see a photo of the pulley system in the center of the balance? There is where the string and spring meet in the middle.

I'll also need to know the exact weight of the sash. Unfortunately, the 20 - 30lb range is too wide to determine the stamp option needed for your replacements.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Thanks for getting back to me.

The window weighs 15 lbs.

Thanks for the photos. It looks like you'll need either the Series 380 Channel Balance with a 1" shoe or the Series 385 Channel Balance with a 1-3/32" shoe.

To determine which of these is the correct replacement, you'll need to confirm the depth of your bottom shoe as well as the length of the metal channel, not including the top and bottom attachments.

Comparison of the S378, S380 and S385 balance shoes.

The metal channel is 20 7/8 inches
I think the bottom shoe is 1 3/32
However, for some of our other windows (same brand we ordered and used S380 balances)
Just realized there is a number stamped on the balance: 20 4 BO Caldnell.

Hope this is usefull.

If your bottom shoe measures 1-3/32", you'll need the S385-21 with a 2040 stamp option. This will support a sash weighing 15 to 23lbs.

Just for my information, if the shoe measures 1 inch I need the S380-21?

Thank you for yur help.
