Channel balance

Question

This window has not worked since we bought the house. I decided to investigate today and as you can see in the photo it looks like someone installed one side too high. The other side was attached where the round hole is. So, I need 2 of these. They have "28C BSI TK" stamped on the side if that is helpful to you.

Hi Ericka,

Thanks for posting! The balances you have here will need to be a custom assembly since they have a hook similar to the 15-198 Balance Clip Attachment installed at the top. Given the stamp, you'll need the S795-28 channel balance with a 28C stamp option.

You likely found the balance channel to be all the way at the top of the window be cause the T-lock shoe is damaged. Which brings me to the next point; the replacements will come assembled with a 15-195 1-1/4" T-Lock Shoe.
