We measured width and reads 5/8 balance has stamp that reads 28AUSP

Thanks for posting. I believe you have either the S378-29, S380-29, or S385-29. The only difference between these three balances is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. See the diagram below. Measure your old balance's shoe to see what matches best. For a stamp option choose 2810.
